Annual HOA Board Election & Membership Meeting

It’s time for the Annual North Captiva Dunes Homeowners Association Board Election and Annual Membership Meeting. Each year, members have the opportunity to run for the Board of Directors and to participate In the Association's governance.
Board Nominations Now Open
The nomination period for Board candidates is open for 35 days, as required by the Association bylaws.
There are three (3) Board seats up for election this year, currently held by:

Board Election Timeline & Process
Voting will take place from March 3 through March 9.
The election will be conducted electronically using ElectionBuddy.
Important notes:

Proxy voting is not permitted for Board elections per the Association bylaws.

Proxy voting applies only to specific actions requiring a membership vote.

No actions requiring proxy voting are anticipated for the upcoming Annual Membership Meeting.
Annual Membership Meeting
Tuesday, March 10
7:00 PM Eastern Time
Via Zoom
Election results will be announced during the meeting, followed by a brief review of the past year and transition to the newly elected Board.
Zoom access details will be published and distributed closer to the meeting date.
Membership & Voting Eligibility
Only dues-paying members in good standing with the HOA may vote or attend the Annual Membership Meeting.
Membership in the North Captiva Dunes HOA is open to anyone who owns property in the Dunes neighborhood; however, membership is secured by payment of annual dues.
The Association will be reaching out in the coming weeks to notify any owners who may be in arrears so they have time to become current prior to the election and meeting.
